Žar — open fire.
A restaurant built around open flame — everything touched by heat and smoke. Another self-written brief, answered honestly: a site that sells the fire before it sells the menu.
The brief
Žar — embers. A restaurant where every plate meets open flame. The brief we wrote for ourselves: a site that carries heat, char and craft in the first scroll, then makes reserving a table feel like the obvious next move.
What we made
A dark, warm editorial layout — full-bleed fire photography, a single ember-orange accent, and a menu that reads like a manifesto. Reveal-on-scroll and slow parallax carry the smoke. Like all our field work: hand-coded, framework-free, fast, and honest about being a concept rather than a live business.
Where the flagships push real-time 3D, the field tier proves the fundamentals — layout, type, and restraint — that everything louder is built on.
